Station 1

H. A. Spalding provided design and project management service for the City of Hazard for construction of the 4,900 square-foot building.  The fire department relocated on a temporary basis, so the permanent station could be reconstructed on the existing site.  Special design features for the two-story building include multi-level access and French door windowing.  The structure provides living space for on-duty firefighters and space for assigned equipment. 

Station 2

As the City has grown, an additional fire station was constructed to improve response time to the hospital area.  H. A. Spalding Engineers provided site design and general building design for a 4-bay metal building to serve as Station 2.
